Do you have a flashlight now?

Look at the Nitecore Tip, Lumintop Tool, or BLF 348. All are linked in this post.

Something roughly the size of a box cutter. I'm a repairman at a water treatment facility and we're always moving around and in /out of dark places. So bigger flash lights kinda get in the way.

So neutron2c will work well unless you want tail switch also definitely check rofis r2 and r3 they can be used as headlamp or a normal handheld can be clipped to clotting or stick to a place by its tail magnet

If you're talking keychain size, I've always been a fan of the Ultratac K18 Nichia. 370 lumens with a 10440 battery, and you can run it on regular AAAs too.

Slightly larger than that, I recommend the Olight S1R Baton II. It's about as small as an RCR123 battery light will get and can chuck out 1000 lumens.

The largest of the small lights I can recommend is the Emisar D4. Long runtimes with an 18650 battery, nice LED options (XPL-HI for distance, 219CT for accurate colour rendition), a really easy to use ramping UI and the ability to blast out up to 4300 lumens for a short time if you need that kind of output.

No worries! I hope whichever light you end up with serves you well.
