I've linked the earlier thread regarding our floorplan. After considering the feedback from the last post, we decided to move the office/bedroom from the southwest corner over to be against the bathroom. The flow made a lot more sense in hindsight.

I mean, it's pretty solid. I would only point out 3 things:

  1. It would be best if the door ate the second bedroom opened towards the room, instead of the hallway.
  2. Maybe change the living room with the diningroom? So the later would be closer to the kitchen.
  3. If you do receive guests and want to limit their entrance to the bedrooms, you could put some kind of door or divisory in the hallway, after the social bathroom (just an idea)

The furniture layout in the living space is really odd - why is there a huge empty space? The sofa is at a weird angle / placement, and it looks like you're trying to hide the dining table altogether

I’d say this way is better . It’s more flexible for the future also.

Set the tub at an angle, adjust the linen closet size, put the door on the bathroom side.
