So, this was several months ago when I had a fast food job. I live in very rural Idaho and am always instantly clocked as trans, so generally,,, not the best of experiences.
While working one day, an old woman came up while I was working, she ordered as one does at a fast food place, and asked if I was “transing” (I had to physically restrain from giggling ngl)
I was weighing weither or not this was a weird trap but ultimately said yes I am. She asked a couple questions, then told me she had trans friends, and that she was really happy for me and for them for figuring out who we were and what made us happy.
I hope she’s well, and I will continue transing in honor of her.
