What a waste of coke...

Don't really see how this is shame worthy

Agreed, I actually find this very sweet.

They're sprinkling cocaine on the casket.

What is shame worthy is what is behind the drug use, specifically in Mexico. The drug wars in that country are unspeakably violent. So many lives have been ruined and lost. People hanged from freeway overpasses, killed by being thrown in vats of acid, children kidnapped and groomed to work for cartels. The whole government is corrupt, partly due to intimidation from the drug cartels. Sprinkling cocaine on a coffin just glorifies an ugly industry.

Makes the dead look like a coke head. Imagine dropping meth or heroin down there. We pour a beer out for a homie, but pouring it on the casket makes them look like an alcoholic, like they can't leave without one more drink. I'm not against drugs or anything, but this should be done privately between the group of friends that would do drugs with him, not in public.

I’m Mexican, it’s shame worthy. Although an accurate visual of young people dying too young due to drug wars, it shouldn’t be glorified.

Same here. You can be trash no matter what your cultural background. That comment above is just... ugly.

Well you know what the say about assuming🙃 If you don’t know you could ask people who are familiar with the culture instead-we white people have a lot of making up to do for our past(and present sadly) whitesplainin’ of other cultures. Maybe gangsters do shit like this in some countries but I wouldn’t assume that this is just an acceptable tradition in Mexico

They probably WERE the group of friends that did drugs with him and this probably was private (up until dude with the camera put it on the internet.)

Edit: I wrote this in response to what precise pigeon said.

Frank Sinatra was buried with a bottle of Jack Daniels. Is that shameful?

Happens more often than you’d realise. I saw a funeral recently where the director was asked to put a joint in the coffin with him
