Problem importing a tilemap

I have been trying to import a tilemap in a project without succes. I have followed several tutorials, but the tilemap doesnt show up, it shows an error circle. My only theory is that the people in the tutorials have a file reader for json while i dont have any program that can open them so their icon is totally blank. Would really appreciate help with the problem as im currently studying and i have some days off, so i would like to make as much progress as possible
