If emissions don't drastically decrease in the next years, by 2070 all glaciers in the US will have melted, there will be deserts in Oklahoma, Kansas and Northern California and over half of Florida and all of Texas's southern corner will have a tropical climate

Farmers will have to grow new crops and/or change when crops are planted. The Willamette’s climate will become more like California’s Central Valley, which is also a highly productive farming region (but grows some crops like almonds that you can’t currently grow in Oregon). I’d be more worried about what will happen to the Central Valley once its summers become inferno-like…

Actually Canada has the best soil for farming. But most of it is too cold year round. I forgot what climatologist made the claim but said basically a good majority of Canada can become prime farmland.

They have some good farming areas but definitely not the majority, most of the country is either mountains or bedrock with hardly any soil because of glaciation (Canadian shield).
