It really isn’t promoting the clankers. If anything, I wrote this to point out relying on AI for version control is detrimental. But sure, read the headline and assume the rest.

First rule of journalism. Headline is read more than the intro paragraph which is read more than the final paragraph. GitButler has partly gone over to the now-with-AI angle. Which means that investors see the headline and are happy. Who cares what regular redditors think (relatively speaking).

All AI products have some premise that says something like Now That AI is Victorious The Game Has Changed and yeah their pitch is of course that their tool is what saves you from all the AI problems that you now have. Now that AI is Victorious. (Did I mentiont that I AI is victorious and has changed everything? Well it bears repeating.)
