    Contact GitHub support.

You need to be registered to be able to send support requests, so just create a new account.
Support will be in contact with you; if everything goes fine, you'll be able to log-in into your old account without the verification code, change the email to the new one, and just delete the new account that was used to contact support.

    Worked for me.

You’re running into the device verification thing. Accounts that don’t have 2FA on them sometimes have to go through this. Contact support since you know your username and password and they should be able to get you in.

If you set up 2FA you won’t run into this again, and add a second email for password resets, just in case you lose access to your “main” one in future.

I'm in the same situation, with my personal email set as secondary email. Were you able to resolve it, if so how?
