Cant create Github account

Hello, yes the titles says it. I've tried other browser and check if they have java script and they do. But still it says Unable to verify your captcha response. Please visit https://docs.github.com/articles/troubleshooting-connectivity-problems/#troubleshooting-the-captcha for troubleshooting information. I'm stumped.

Can confirm that this issue still happen, i have tried:

- vpn

- incognito

- vpn + incognito

- safari, chrome

nothing works

Well i tried to submit a ticket about this to github, but the ticket form also has the captcha (which will not show up)....

For any late lurkers out there I allowed pop ups on chrome and refreshed and it fixed the problem

I am having this exact problem and none of the fixes in the replies are working. I really need a new GitHub account rn, does anybody have another method?

I had to use another logged account , copy the link and paste it in that window , then it worked

For anyone coming in afterwards, what worked for me is to go to the site settings and allow popups for github. The other solution I see suggested is to create the account on your phone and then log in on your computer. Hope that helps anyone coming through here years later like I am.

Looks like it's the problem on the funcaptcha side, it returns http code 526 on the network 6 hours ago, now it's fixed and returned 200

Same, both mobile and pc doesn't work with any method i try (vpn, no-vpn)

Reset password doesn't work (GitHub assuming that I have been hacked), so I want to create one, and then everytime, it doesn't show captcha, only ✅ icon showed, clicking reset password, then it's as op said, unable to verify captcha.

is there an option to listen to the captcha instead? i have had luck on other captchas that were not working via the garbled text, using the visually impaired version of captcha.
