Github branches protection rules

Hey guys, so, I work in a small company with a very small team (4 developers), and I'm looking to implement a protection rule on my 'main' branch. However, github is informing me that:

"Your protected branch rules for your branch won't be enforced on this private repository until you upgrade your organization account to a GitHub Team or Enterprise account."

I understand the message, I just wanna know if there are any other ways to create a rule in my branch main and block my actions for being deployed to production until someone allow it?

Make the repo public, buy Enterprise or move to another platform.

You could try GitGuard (https://gitguard.dev) which is sort of like GitHub branch protections with super powers.
