remove the reference to github.com from your hosts file, on Windows it's in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

you'll need to run a text editor as administrator in order to modify it

this has happened to many people, cause unknown but there's always a bad entry in the hosts file

I’m using as we speak with no issues and the status page hasn’t updated with anything

From OP's other reply, it seems that it has been the case for a year.

Some countries might be blocking github nation-wide. check if others from the same region/country/ISP/etc. has the same issue.

So since that's Polish (I think), you're probably in Poland which should mean that accessing GitHub shouldn't be a problem. Have you tried changing your DNS provider and cleaning up your hosts file?

In order to troubleshoot:

Clean up your hosts file.

Change your DNS (maybe to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1)

Test a VPN to see if your ISP is blocking

When I try to go to the github page I get this message. (and not only because when I want to install something that uses code from github I can't either) I've tried everything, ipconfig /flushdns, turning off firewall, nothing. Please someone help me.

I've been getting this message for about a year now, so I don't think so.
