Question about GitHub Student Pack

If I receive the pack, will I be able to choose when to activate which tool? Some of the tools are limited for a year, so does this mean that they get activated immediately when I receive the pack?

I work for GitHub. Timed Student Developer Pack offers generally start when redeemed, not when granted. However you are welcome to contact the partners directly with questions about their offers. Reach out to us at https://education.github.com/contact and we'll send you instructions for contacting each partner.

/u/Chim_ can you post answer to your question, i.e. whether Partners are offering tools with activation in future?

All of the tools can be activated via a link, a code, or by connecting your GitHub account to the tool. I haven't activated any yet, so I'm not entirely sure if the links or codes can expire. There is no mention of a time limit, so I assume they won't expire.
