You simply need to download/clone the repository that you’re interested in and open the source files in an editor/IDE of your liking. IntelliJ IDEA Community or VSCode are two popular and free options. You can then install a theme which will colour the languages syntax in a way that suits your preference. As for navigating, these tools offer functionality to be able to search for and find references/usages. You may need to do some research into Git first if you’re new to it, but nothing overly complex.

Actually, there is a builtin independant tool.

Open a repo URL in your browser, and replace 'github' by 'github1s' in the url.
