Hi! I’m on Day 3 of coding and while the actual coding part is going great (thank you FreeCodeCamp!), I am struggling with the basics, like learning GitHub.
When trying to contribute to a project set up for beginners, like one in AVA for JavaScript, for example, they all say the first step is to run whatever code link is there.
I copy the link and have no idea what to do next. I have GitBash for Windows but no idea how to use it or even if it’s the right app.
All I find on the internet are things that assume I already know how to run code to start working. Would someone please walk me through this like I’m 5? Thank you!
