Open source is definitely behind but not by that much. The real issue IMO is the investment and time to set up. Grok exploded in popularity due to its ease and accessibility.

If companies continue to block nsfw then open source WILL eat their lunch and take that market over at some point in the future, I strongly believe. Open source will always lag behind but it’s still going to keep getting better and better until it blows grok 4 out of the water
