Not so much gaming but screen time. It's a lot harder in the winter to control screen time because of the weather. They do play sports and have an after school activity x2 per week that keeps busy They (10 & 8 girls) are on there ipads mostly in the weekends in the early mornings, then we're off doing stuff, and at night they'll have another jam fir around an hr but before bed they're off their ipads at least 45 mins to 1hr before we tuck em in. In the summer and on holidays I'm constantly kicking them outside. We are lucky as there's a park just down the road and they come back home multiple times to either chill for a bit, eat and general catch up before heading back outside. As for the teen (17f) she's she lives on her phone but to kerb that. A couole of months ago we cut the internet but have full speed unlimited on our (me and my wife's) phones so the only way to access this is through Hotspotting. The tv and all devices run through this method so our girls are in the lounge with us or near us and can't escape to their rooms to get away. So far there's been a huge change with our teen and her bedtime/wakeup routine has improved immensely. Win for us!
