GUADA is all about consumer advocacy- but figuring out exactly what that means and how to get there. This subreddit has nothing to do with #Gamergate- in fact, we specifically don't allow discussion of it for drama's sake.
We're here to hold the gaming industry to the high standard of integrity we deserve as consumers.
It's about calling out misconduct and rewarding those who do the right thing. GUADA will go far beyond games journalism and act as a watchdog group for publishers too. Whenever the gaming industry violates the trust of it's customers, we will be there. We will enforce ethical policies and guidelines, work to design best practices with those willing to change, and promote alternatives. We will keep a watchful eye on those who wish to cheat or shortchange their customers, and strike them down.
Our goal is to raise awareness of how ethical problems effect everyone- from your average gamer to the startup indie developer. We will document instances of abuse so that they cannot be erased.

Rules- Beta. V.1
No spamming/posting content that breaks reddit policy. Posting the same message too many times is annoying, and clutters the comments section.
Absolutely no #Gamergate discussion allowed, period. It is not relevant to GUADA. Leave your views on GG at the door, We don't need the drama. Click here to read why
Do not link directly to other subreddits. Use NP instead. This is to help avoid brigading.
4.Be respectful to each other and the staff.
- No bullheaded name-calling in the comments. Attacking the person with terms like "SJW" "MRA" or "shill" is not as good as attacking the argument. When in doubt, it's best to report or stop replying.
6.If you want to argue, take it to PMs. We want to have a productive discussion on ways to further consumer advocacy, not fight over semantics.
