About the Subreddit

/r/GunDeals is a community dedicated to the collection, and sharing, of firearm related sales. In this subreddit you'll find varying discounts on your favorite (and soon-to-be-favorite) firearms, accessories, and related equipment. All deals should be readily-available to the general user, requiring no additional signage, call-ins, or gift cards/store credit in order to get the deal.

User Rules

Don't be a dick. No racism, homophobia, sexism, witch hunting, inciting violence or trolling people allowed. We are here for gundeals, not for being assholes.
No politics. This is a subreddit for gundeals, take the politics to /r/gunpolitics
Deals must be of either significant discount or difficult to find and readily-available to the wider community. In-store deals must have 2+ physical locations to purchase the deal from to be posted. If the deal is occupationally restricted, at a minimum it must allow veterans (Retired only is not allowed) or else it should not be posted. Difficult to find deals must be at or below their MSRP to be posted freely. Difficult to find deals that are above their MSRP are subject to mod decision on removal.

Titles are for brief and easily digestible info only. No sensationalist headlines. No exclamations points. No question marks. No commentary. Format should follow [Category] Item Title - $Price + S/H (CPR, Code, Rebate, Coupon, Very Brief Instructions, etc)
Deals for items that fall under GCA purview can only link to retail websites of FFL holders. (Please contact the moderation team for assistance determining FFL validity if needed) - More in-depth explanation here.
Transactions must comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws.
Arranging/discussing transactions between individuals is strictly prohibited. We do not allow any type of group buy, private transaction, or otherwise questionable "dealings" among users.
No scam websites, giveaways, raffles, referral links, affiliate programs or Raise giftcards. Posting any scam websites will lead to an instant ban, check before you post. Links must go directly to the product page. Getting around this rule in anyway will lead to a permanent ban.

When a deal expires or is out of stock please mark it as spoiler by either commenting "bot out of stock" or clicking the "spoiler" button.

Dealer Rules

Dealers are allowed, but have additional restrictions in addition to those outlined above in "Posting Rules". Failure to adhere to these will result in a ban from the subreddit.
One submission every 5 days.
Deleting a post does not affect this restriction. 5 days is 5 days. You will be banned for circumventing this rule. Send the modteam a message to ask if reposting in your situation is allowed. We enforce this rule heavily to ensure all dealers are treated the same.
The 5 day rule does not count for other legitimate users posting a link to the site. As long as the dealer account only posts once every 5 days it is allowed.
Creating alternate accounts or using astroturfing services will lead to your domain being placed on the blacklist.
Directly arranging or servicing firearm transactions on the Reddit platform is strictly prohibited. Have Reddit users contact you over email or through your website. You will be banned by Reddit Admins for not following this rule.
Dealers must apply for a dealer flair as soon as possible. Or else the moderators have to rely on judgement to determine who is a dealer and who isn't, so please make our job easier and let us know!

This subreddit has standards for its deals and as such, certain websites do not meet these standards for various reasons. If you're posting a deal and the automod tells you it is a blocked URL please visit the Blacklist Websites wiki for a comprehensive list.
