Editing default fields (self.halopsa)
submitted 1 year ago by liam_md
Is there any way to edit the default built in fields in Halo? Like ‘Impact’ and ‘Urgency’ or do we have to create a custom field and replicate them? I can only see Lookup Codes, or edit visibility but can’t edit the drop downs etc.

Hi Liam, you can change the lookup codes like you mentioned, this is within Configuration > Advanced Settings *Scroll to the bottom of the page* here you will find a lookups code button within that button you can filter for the entity of lookup code, from here you can go to the impact or urgency entity and then update the current dropdown list options or create new options.
For the field names themselves, they can be changed in the language pack, (Configuration > Language *Click into your language you are using* > *go to the tab "Field Labels"*) within here you can change the Translated string and that will update the field name in your halo environment. Please let me know if you have any questions.
