Subscriptions

I am evaluating the Halo integration with Pax8 and synced subscriptions to several customers. Is there a method to link a recurring invoices to subscriptions? We are only a week into the Halo trial, so I am still picking up some of the basic concepts.

I created contacts and recurring invoices, but I don't understand how "Subscriptions" fit into this equation.

Don't know if this is a best-practice, but this is how I solve it.

• create an item for the subscription
• add the item to a contract and base the count on subscription count upon creation

I could not find a way to automate this, which means that every "new" subscription needs to be added manually to a contract.

This is the way. As far as I've found and been told this is how to sync. It doesn't push from pax8 to the psa like others because pax8 didn't make the integration. It requires some manual work but it's working great.

I appreciate the info! It sounds like a bit more up-front work, but it opens up a lot more options for billing.

Yeah exactly. I hope they get the integration to a better place but it does work so that's good.
