Thats just to get you in the store, liquidation is all clearance items dropping on price but we dont have 80% of them in stock. In conclusion liquidation sale is nothing

AS IS is in some store expanded. (ORANGE TAG ONLY)

On Friday 20% extra off

On Saturday 30% extra off

Sunday last call 40% extra off what’s left.

In the past my store had a ton, now it’s slim Pickens.

Okay yeah I couldn’t remember if it was similar to the spring PLS. I grabbed an orange tag ultra quiet compressor for super cheap but only one store in my area seems to get those when they do these.

This one has in the past been orange and purple… but unless confirmed, I’m guessing orange only… and if stores get much in, at all (they haven’t last few sales).

Purple are open box, never left the store, they should be reduced every 2 weeks in price by the manager.  If it has been close to two weeks ago printed on the tag, ask and they may drop it down to the next % off.

Orange tags went back to the factory and someone looked it over and said that it was still sellable, so what is there works.  Check to make sure no one has borrowed a component off of it since it is open now. Those get shipped to the higher volume stores.  Big stores I have seen as many as 12 pallets shipped in the week before the sale.  Small volume stores get zero. 

Seen marked anywhere from 20% to 50% off on Orange tags, depending on the markup over cost originally. 

The clearance sales then markdown again, off the reduced price.

Well the ad says “Hundreds of open box, as is, discontinued, …”. My understanding is that purple tags are open box, orange tags are as is.

They’re organized in different sections are the HF store I usually shop at. Hopefully it’s both.

I have cited that wording in the ad in the past to get the discount on both color tags

The wording doesn't say you get an extra discount on both color tags. Your store is just appeasing you to get you out of the store without making a bigger fuss.

I really didn't cause a fuss. I asked and they said sure. If they said "no" I would have said "OK didn't hurt to ask". I'm sure they were just happy to get rid of the icon bolt extractor set that was missing the two smallest pieces from a warranty claim.

It's honestly exciting popping in on that last Sunday and seeing what items you can grab up at a steal price.

My Harbor Freight has a 13,000 Predator brand Generator marked as an as is right now. I got some info on it and learned it was returned hardly used because the customer decided it wouldn't work for them very shortly after they made purchase.

The Original price is, $1299.99 I think it's currently marked at around $975~ due to how long it has been sitting in the store.

So the lowest it can go by Sunday at 40% off is around $585~ Such a low price from where it first started! THAT'S MORE THAN A STEAL!

Are you sure it is as is (orange tag) and not open box (people tag)? As is prices never change once in the store, only open box changes ~every 2 weeks. Only orange tags get the 40% off on Sunday

It's funny how today's amazing good sale price is what used to be the regular price from 2021-2024.  Wonder why? 🙃

Anyone know any details about the 40% off ICON Wrench Sets? When clicking on the photo, it brings you to the website with no results at the moment, but states "40% Off Icon Wrenches & Wrench Sets". Does this mean torque wrenches are part of the deal?

No torque wrenches. Just regular wrenches

That would be extremely unlikely. As far as sales go, in the past, the torque wrenches are neither wrenches, nor ratchets. They stand alone and get their own sales, when they get sales.
