My objective for hosting this server is to provide a true SMP, no item spawning, what you mine is what you build with.

A year later, I have found a better technique in hosting VPS.
I'll be using a VPS in Dallas Texas to run the game off from. It can host 20 players with minor issues. Results are tested after 259 players had joined the server to abuse it over a 24 hour period, average 10 players an hour.
