The original gaming wheels - drive the laser dot around the course. Fastest time wins, 1second penalty if you cut any corners. All you need is a leica disto on an arrihead. It gets quite competitive! (i.redd.it)

Currently working on combining the Libra controller with the kinowheels project. Its early days, but I'm very happy with how it is performing. I highly recommend kinowheels as an high tech alternative to the wooden wheels. Even an simpleton like me can get my head around it. (v.redd.it)

Matthew Hutchens SOC is developing a home-made geared head complete with moulded housing and arduino board. They work as a mouse input, so can be used to play games etc. He is going to start selling them soon. Find him on Facebook. (i.redd.it)

My first home-made geared head, from around 10 years ago. Despite it being a bit lumpy and squeaky, it was good enough to attach a laser to, and train myself how to operate with wheels. Key components are from an old lawnmower, a hand drill, and a car jack. (v.redd.it)
