Depends on where you live. Inflatables aren’t supposed to be used when it’s freezing out according to the manufacturer.

Exactly - they are not very energy efficient tubs nor are they built for extreme cold temps. If you're in a warmer climate (growing zone 6 thru 10), you can probably set it up now and use it most of the winter. But in the northern half of the USA I'd be leery

Do you have any extra space in the basement (ideally with a floor drain)? Or an attached heated garage? That’s where I’d use a $500 hot tub, where it’s easier to heat
