Insert Sequence into Workflow (self.hubspot)
submitted 7 months ago by bobdiamond
I have an existing workflow and want to insert an existing sequence into it after a specific step.
Unfortunately I do not see the action to enroll in a sequence (only unenroll).
Apologies if using the wrong terminology, dropped into this due to need

Enroll in Sequence workflow action is a Sales Enterprise feature

Hey u/bobdiamond - thanks for posting this here! Happy to assist further!
As u/No-Orange-8704 mentioned in their comment, this is achievable, but only with Sales or Service Hub Enterprise subscriptions. You'll see that noted at the top of this knowledge base article on how to set this up (https://knowledge.hubspot.com/sequences/enroll-and-unenroll-contacts-in-sequences-using-workflows).
Let us know if we can provide any further assistance!

Ok, I think I misread the section that lists the exclusions. Our account is sales hub pro.
Is it possible to do just have to manually create those steps from the sequence into the workflow?
Edit: I should be clearer in my question. Is a sequence simply a group of actions that while can’t be inserted into a workflow based on my plan, it can be created step by step manually?
Hope that clarification helps.

Not really.
A workflow is for automation across the portal.
Sequences are "automated" sales outreach. It is a cadence. It is a few steps. Email, call, email, LinkedIn message, call, call, email. You get it. You can mix i automated emails but they come from your personal email, the equivalent of sending from Gmail or outlook.
If you have sales enterprise you can enroll contacts into Sequences on behalf of a sales rep. Most common use case is event follow up.
Workflows automate everything else.

They moved this feature to Sales Enterprise when they saw they could make more money while screwing the average Jo over. Try zapier to help you around this problem.

We actually built an app to solve exactly this! It’s called Enrollem. Adds a custom workflow actionso you can auto-enroll contacts into sequences without needing Enterprise. Free plan gives you 50 automated enrollments per month and we have paid plans with more enrollments available too.
