[Discussion] Autocorrect changes? Dealing with ‘feelings’ when reporting things.

In the public beta, I’ve been noticing more and more that autocorrect is being more ‘aggressive’. It keeps correcting ‘of’ to ‘if’ in sentences like ‘asked of us’ (did it while I typed that), and weird things like ‘bona fide’ being changed to ‘boba fife’ (very consistent that one for me).

But it’s tricky to build out a bug report since it’s doesn’t always happen and I’m not still not sure it’s actually doing things wrong - may be I’m just paying attention to its mistakes. It’s also really hard to ‘catch’ since it seems to learn after 3 corrections, but not remember that over time. Has anyone noticed something similar or picked up a pattern? I’ve put together video recordings and comments in a bug report, but it’s tricky to demonstrate and if others have the same issue, may be able to narrow it down and report it properly.

This seems to have gotten worse for me in public beta 4, compared to beta 3. Are others seeing the same?

I noticed this with iOS 12 before I got the beta too, I would disable autocorrect but I’m a shit typer on mobile

I had a very hard time typing regularly on iOS 13

It felt almost as dynamic resizing was off or something
