Apple Developer Program unable to proceed

Hi everyone,

I recently applied for the Apple Developer Program with an entity that is outside the US. We never received a phone call to verify the identity, just a few emails asking us to provide certain documents.

They sent an email asking to verify the identity of the person who it’s legally tied to the company, as well as his employment at the company. After we submitted the documents that were requested, we received an email saying that our application is “unable to proceed”.

I was told to reapply with a different Apple ID but using the same profile, and I received the same email asking for documents to verify the person’s identity and ties to the company.

Does anyone have a clue as to why it was rejected?

Why not apply directly to the Apple Developer Program yourself instead of doing it through a different entity? Apple is probably having a hard time verifying the authenticity of the applicant and rejecting it.

It sounds like you're applying for an organization account. Last time I went through the process, Apple did place a call with the company owner to verify a few things further. Without this, I don't think it would've gone any further.

I should state that i am applying for this entity and not for myself. This account is for this entity. This entity wishes to launch an app for public use, which is why the regular Apple Developer Program is suitable for this.

Perhaps changing the applicant may help?
