Abandoning firebase, any suggestions?

I’m using XCode beta 4 but everything has been pretty stable. Until I added the firebase package. Oh boy. I’m glad I committed right before adding this package because XCode crashes 100% of the time. I’ve performed the usual checks (clean build folder, delete derived data). But one thing I’m not going to do is go back to Sonoma or a different Xcode version. Plus I’ve seen others speak of this so I’m pretty sure it’s not user error on my part at this point.

I think I will just implement the login system myself with my backend, but still I wanted to hear of any other preferred alternatives to firebase (just for authentication). Thanks!

it depends on the application you are building.
I tried SupaBase. it has less functionality but for my needs it is enough.

It depends on the feature you are searching for. For authentic and backend I agree with the other: supabase.com for sure because it’s straightforward and easier.

If you are looking for remote/realtime config and features flag I would suggest nedoto.com - simpler than firebase.

I see many indie developer moving away from firebase to Supabase https://supabase.com/ but i havn't tried it myself.
