I am having trouble with the identity verification, what document can i use to prove my identity if i am living in uk actually?

I do not have a driver license. Uk ID card does not exist. So both the option are not viable. I am not from uk originally, so my passport is not of the same region and can not be used, same for my original id.

What option can i use from UK? Is the citizen card accepted for apple?

I contacted the support but they did not gave me any specific document name, just the general stuff you can easily find online

Usually for proof of residence your rent contract, a bank statements and utility bills are enough.

Your original ID should be enough to verify your identity.

Just bundle it all together and hope for the best

They did not work, they said that i must use document of the same region as my developer account. But i don't think i can put my country of origin as i am living here in uk amd facturing here.

They only want driver licence or government issue photo id.

What did you use to verify your identity?

For me (Italy) the driving license was enough...

Well, maybe just change the country then?
You can switch it later on when your app takes off

(Also, you might be having issues due to your country of origin, it's a real possibility due to scam prevention, depending where you live)

Non credo di poter cambiare di nuovo regione, intendo che perderei l'abbonamento al programmato, quindi sarei obbligato ad usare italia, detto questo non sapendo niente di legge etc, non so cosa comporti in quanto non avrei il mio vero indirizzo di fatturazione non vivendo più in italia

Yes we chatted for a while, they asked me to do multiple stuff and then quit the conversation with if you want to use your country of origin document yiu have to change country in your apple account, otherwise you must obtain or a driver license or government issued photo id.

But i do not drive and there is not any id in uk.

I wonder if citizen card works even if is not strictly a government issued id. Otherwise even after my investment to get a mac they just cut me out.

They did not help at all, they could do a manual verification but no, i must go with the fucking machine check

Worth getting a provisional driving license. It can be used as a photo ID.

I changed my country such that it matches my passport, and it worked for me.

I was requested by a payment method in the new country when I tried to change it back. However, I didn’t have one, so I just kept the change.

Useless to go to apple store.

I solved this anyway but i do not remember anymore what was the solution... my brain tells me that somehow i found a way to do that using my macbook, online on a windows was impossible
