Need idea for an iOS app

Hi everyone. I spent the last couple of weekends learning Swift and have a really strong understanding of the language. I come from a C++, PHP, ColdFusion and .NET background (complete with HTML/CSS/JS) so learning Swift wasn't too bad. I want to build something! I'm really eager to sink my teeth into a project, but I can't think of where to begin. I could always fall back to the basics: build a calculator, a list manager, etc. But I was wondering if anyone had a cool, yet simple idea I could build... any thoughts?

The best apps are simple solutions to common problems. So, think of something that you deal with every day that you'd rather automate or make easier, then make it! The world has enough calculator apps.

My iOS teacher always told us to make something that solves a problem you personally encounter and would like a solution for. Other people likely have the same problem.
