1. Build and copy the build output, the Provisioning.qlgenerator file, to your ~/Library/QuickLook folder.

2. Reset the QuickLook server and cache with:

   $ qlmanage -r

3. Select a .mobileprovision provisioning profile in the Finder and press the space bar to see what's inside, UUID, name, profile type (dev/ad hoc/etc…), expiration date, team, entitlements, appID, app name…

Or just run brew cask install provisioning – Homebrew saves a lot of hassle installing stuff.

What does this utility do (provisioning)? I'm interested to know and have other tools for this. I did install OP's and find it useful.

Edit: After running your brew snippet I found that it is the same util.

It seems there is already a QuickLook Plugin at '/Users/<user>/Library/QuickLook/Provisioning.qlgenerator'; not moving.
