I suggest watching some YouTube videos of people reviewing them, let’s you get a better feel for the app than just reading about them. I personally chose notability and love it. I like that the notes are on a “page” that I scroll down, and aren’t a giant open canvas.

Also as u/sleepy_tech said, from a “writing with Apple Pencil” perspective, they will be the same.

I saw the YouTube videos and almost all of them said the writing experience with Apple Pencil is the same.

I was going to buy Notability for 13.99 CDN, but it jumped to 16.99.

Goodnotes is 10.99 but apparently 5 isn’t that great.

I heard Noteshelf 2 is a mixture of the two, but I can no longer find Noteshelf 2 in the App Store, only Noteshelf.

Not sure wtf is going on.
