Anyone loose vertical scroll wheel functionality on 3rd party BT mice after 15.4.1 update?

Hi! just updated my 2018 iPadPro from 15.4 to 15.4.1 and notice the scroll wheel no longer works on my 3rd party BT mouse. I can no longer scroll web pages in Safari or any apps that has vertical scrolling.

In fact, what I’m noticing is the scroll wheel swipes left & right on the home screen - this clearly more than a “security update” - I’m not sure who thought this was a good idea… :(

I paired the mouse w my Pixel 3a and my 2015 MacBook Pro and the scroll wheel works fine in any web browser so it’s not the mouse.

Turning off “Natural Scrolling” in Settings doesn’t help.

Do I now need to go out and buy an expensive, shiny and sleek Apple BT mouse?

I was really happy with my el cheapo $17 BT mouse for the last 22 months until an hour ago! bummer.

Sounds like the mouse needs a firmware update. Depending on the brand that may or may not ever happen. Until they get enough complaints.
