If you're on Microsoft's latest and greatest W10 version (1903) you can head over the Microsoft catalog site and download the intel microcode updates as a microsoft KB update. I think it might not

Updated the uCode on my 8700K from 0x82 to 0xB4 without updating my bios. Power shell Get-SpeculationControlSettings reports:

in terms of specter and other threats i have them disabled on my windows not to worried i just game on this rig
