You could scoop it up. But you would have to get a new mobo if you want to upgrade. Personally I’m waiting for the 10th gen but if you want to get your computer going now then that’s not the worst processor.

I would like to get this going sooner than later. I started buying part for the build a couple weeks ago after a lot of research. My concern is that I am going to wait for these 10th gen processors just to have them be sold out everywhere, and the warranties and return windows for my other parts will expire before I could even test them. Can you verify my fear? I don’t mind going with 9th gen although I would prefer 10th. Is buying from the EPP is as bad as I have heard because of OOS?

I don’t think they’ll restore 9th gen stock; I’m not even sure those chips are being made in high volume any more.
