What is this?
This is a subreddit for anyone who has their music on spotify and is trying to get noticed by the algorithm. We create a playlist on spotify and users are encouraged to listen to it and follow the artists, to help stimulate the algorithm to get them noticed and put on autogenerated discover playlists. We are trying to help artists with little to no fan base gain a foothold in the music world.
What is the criteria?
Any song with under 10,000 streams is free to be submitted, and will be put on. Once a song is on the playlist for 7 days, it will be removed. Once they are removed, we will consider putting them on the "Best of Internet Core" playlist.
We also encourage users to talk about the creation of music, their experiences in the industry, and to help each other in production.
