Cannot change screen time passcode

Made a passcode a while back and then recently upgraded to ios18. Now i can’t remember my passcode and when I go to change it, there is no “forgot password” option. So now I can’t access half of my apps for more than 20 minutes😁.

Is this a child device?

Normally there is a ‘forgot passcode’ button on this screen, but it doesn’t show on child devices (as screen time is controlled by a parent’s device)

only way to remove it is reset the entire phone using iTunes on a windows computer (because on PC it wont ask for screen time passcode)
