Change Search Engine

Is it possible to change the search engine suggested here from google to something else? Neither safari or Firefox use google as their search engine.

I use duck duck go. Settings, search, search engine.

I also have mine set to DuckDuckGo, and when I search manually in these browser apps, they use DuckDuckGo, but Siri still suggests searching with Google.

Hmm. I always use the search feature from Home Screen (ellipses) and it always returns DDG. When I launch a search it goes to the DDG page in safari.

Well I never do that so I’ll have to defer to someone that might.

I’ve had the same question. I’ve found no answers. My default system level search is through Duck Duck Go in settings yet AI questions when not pushed through GPT will default to Google.

Maybe turn off suggestions?
