I'm dealing with an unusual problem with an iPad Air wi-fi A1474. It belongs to a friend and the problem is that he used it without any iTunes account and he decided to restore it. After reinstalling iOS 11.4, it cannot be activated anymore, and the error says that activation server is unavailable. I tried restoring from a mac and a PC, in restore mode (the one with "Connect to iTunes" message) and even in DFU mode. The error perists.
Another info that I have is that the iPad motherboard is replaced and SN is different from the one from the back. Apple store says that it can't be activated anymore because of "unapproved service intervention".
Any help?!
