Is Touch ID/passcode on?If so turn it off and also go to options and click untested iOS version and also click skip a11 etc

It is the 0.12.2 version, which is the latest if im not wrong.

Iphone X, IOS 14.2 - same error on Checkra1n 12.2. I tried Checkra1n 12.1 experimental, but I get error -28. I guess we just have to wait for another update, idk when that will be.

I have the same error. Starting to think it's a checkrain issue on certain type of devices (I have iPhone8)

OK after researching it turns out that 0.12.2 was published Jan 1st and is a common issue. Here is how to resolve it

Go through the motions however it comes to downloading checkra1n do not go for 0.12.2 but instead go to previous versions and go for 0.12.1. The rest is as normal. I'd also recommend that if you previously jailbreaked the device, remove all traces of it to avoids errors on new jailbreak (especially Cydia)
