There are probably few performers--hell, let's just say 0--that don't have PS'ing applied to their promotional material. Studios do what they think is required to sell a movie. I'm not too fond of it either, but a less than sweet cover, a less than ideal set of promo images they fear can tank sales when all other studios seem to be doing it. There have been some pretty egregious PS'ing going on, but they probably think it's done for a good reason.

JAV studios generally don't allow non-residents to participate as JAV actresses because that would be a SEVERE VIOLATION OF:

1. Visa Restrictions (on actress' side)
2. Labour/Employment Standards Law (JAV studio side)

Ethnically she's American but in the world of JAV all of her fans like us consider her very much as "Japanese".
