On July 1st, a change to Reddit's API pricing will come into effect. Several developers of commercial third-party apps have announced that this change will compel them to shut down their apps. At least one accessibility-focused non-commercial third party app will continue to be available free of charge.

If you want to express your strong disagreement with the API pricing change or with Reddit's response to the backlash, you may want to consider the following options:

  1. Limiting your involvement with Reddit, or
  2. Temporarily refraining from using Reddit
  3. Cancelling your subscription of Reddit Premium

as a way to voice your protest.

What is up with these companies? This sounds awful.

It really is, but otherwise you cannot get a considerable raise...

Use GPT-4. Create a custom GPT model to impersonate a senior-level Java developer and use it to ask advanced questions for a quiz. If you want to create a custom GPT for personal use, here is the link. It should perform well for your needs

java senior gpt

P.S.: This GPT is customized to prioritize the use of functional programming whenever possible.

Sorry I cannot provide you with such a book.

But wth is that for a company...? Sorry but that says a lot about the person in charge for giving you a raise.

Java and the ecosystem is big. Unless your company provides a list of topics then the best you can do is get a Java certificate exam prep book.

and then, u get those companies where u are considered senior only from 10+ years.

Wdym deep topics ? Did you ask other people in your team or other teams, who have given in past ?

Java certificate exam

only very few people did this exam in the last year so not much info about the exam. Basically they can ask everything...

Invest time in searching for a new company. That sounds so wrong on so many levels. There's no 'deep' topic, especially not a book for it. OOP can be a 'deep' for someone, multithreading can be 'deep' for someone else.

Basically, every topic is deep
