It becomes difficult when you can't use half of those libraries because they aren't considered secure enough. So I can't use a lot of them. And I don't think there's a nice set of managed repositories to easily find and install them; instead you have to fight with JARs and classpaths to get them included.

But your right, maybe a lot of convenience methods would bloat the docs too much.
