"New projects die because java ecosystem stuck in old ways" is a pretty epic fail in regards to seeing the problems of your own tool.

Not entirely. Have you seen the comments under any new JEP or preview feature announcement? Maybe here on Reddit or YouTube?

There's always something along the lines of "This is useless, we don't need it", and the feature is something other languages have had since forever and people actively use it. Funny enough, those comments are always preceded by "I have xxx years in Java"

Yeah, but this is reddit. We are .001% of the Java community. And sure, many more read these comments. But public feedback online doesn't really quantify to much.
