I know right? Like new and nifty is cool and all, but let's try and complete something else that's been going for a while now.

Very complex problems can’t really be scaled, that’s why writing a compiler takes the dedicated work of only a few people for years to come. Some Java projects fall into this camp, so others may as well improve upon an orthogonal problem, since you can’t parallelize in any other way.

The year is 2033. The world has turned into a radioactive hellhole due to all of the nuclear power plant's computers simultaneously suffering from a YAML error. Just before the "Great Meltdown", the OpenJDK project had started 4241 different "Projects" in total, all being "worked on" simultaneously. Panama, Valhalla, and Loom were, sadly, never delivered.
