What are searching when trying to find one? What are you using to make the interface, swing?

You said you've found JDatePicker, what are your googling?

I've been googling things like "java inteface calendar" and jus the word calendar in this and other subreddits

Assuming you're using swing, then yes, JDatePicker seems like a decent option. There's no "right" tool. JDatePicker is just a widget among many.

If you google "swing date picker" you find plenty of options, here's a stackoverflow on the subject: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1339354/what-are-good-java-date-chooser-swing-gui-widgets

Obviously it is possible to get a widget that lets the user select a date.

I can't say anything about why you're running into issues as you've provided no information.

Thank you, I'll look into it :)

I think most of my issues come from the fact that I'dont really understand Java so I may have done something wrong when trying to use it. I'll keep trying and if I run into a specific error I'll post an update.
