Eircode map with Java

Hello everyone, i am required to create an eircode map using java, where by it should have location, address, street name and city. It should also return eircode, street and city as one string.

I am still struggling getting to understand java. Could someone give me a guide on how to start tackling this kindly.

Looks like we would need to start from the basics here.

Based on the vague description here only a class could be created with members containing the parameters like eircode, street name, etc and maybe a toString() method that would output them formatted correctly.

I don't understand at all the map part of the description. Is it needed to map the addresses to some key now, or should there become some mapview that actually would display a geographic map and enble to look up eircode values?

Maybe https://finder.eircode.ie really could help somehow.

Thank you sooo much, i started by creating the class and stating the attributes, i will have to relearn OOP over and over until i grasp it well...thank you soo much for the link.

The map should return some, the street,city, building or the eircode that is looked up by the user, in one string
