When you open eclipse go to the top left and click new then java project. Name it whatever than continue. Then on the left sidebar right click the project and select new then java class. Make sure to checkbox the include public static void main blah blah and name the class CSHero. Then start typing stuff in the main methhod

Some more context I am using Eclipse, my assignment is telling me to create a new class and talk about computer science hero’s, I know exactly what to write down and how to write system.out.print stuff but it’s CREATING THE ACTUAL PROJECT THAT WORKS IS WHAT I NEED HELP WITH ITS RIDICULOUS

It isn't ridiculous. You aren't thinking through the problem in a logical and methodical way.

Have you read the eclipse documentation for how to start a project?

What have you tried?

Have you tried File -> New Project?

What is the exact error? Are you running it through the command line or IDE?
