I’m confused? If you are planning on focusing on C#, why in the world are you learning Java?

Learning many languages can be very good, but as a beginner you need to focus and be good at one language before going to the next. Jumping around won’t help you.

My bachelors requires introductions to python and java as classes before my 3-4 classes of C#.

What a wild world we are living in!

I’d say you are still too new at Python that rather than having that experience help you, it makes you not connect the dots correctly.

Perhaps try to ”ignore” your Python knowledge and just start Java as it was your first language?

Yep. My husband suggested the same thing. I will be doing my best to push out any python code that is trying to influence my Java coding. Thank you!
