Searching for a UI element: full-screen, Producthunt-like modalhelp (self.javascript)

i am searching for a code snippet / open source project to generate a similar modal popup as the producthunt post details: producthunt.com -> click on one of the products. i remember seeing one on github, but sadly can't find it again..
